Top 10 Tackled™ GCSE Science programmes
No. Our programmes are structured in 6-week blocks, and it takes the full block to experience the system properly (teaching, assessment, drop-ins, guest experts, and parent meetings). Parents can then decide whether to continue into the next block. There are 6 blocks across the academic year, from September to June.

Yes. The programme is designed to support both Combined and Triple Science students. Combined students typically enrol in 2 subjects (Physics + Chemistry, or Chemistry + Biology), while Triple Science students often choose all 3.

All sessions are live on Zoom in small groups (8–15 students). Each subject alternates between:
Teaching Weeks – Tutor-led walkthroughs of high-value topics.
Assessment Weeks – Students complete GCSE-style questions through the Premium GCSE Revision Portal (GRP), with live tutor marking and feedback.

The Drop-In runs every Friday (5:15–6:15 pm). Students can bring questions from any science subject, get support with homework or exam packs, and review tutor feedback. These sessions are also used for Guest Expert Talks (Weeks 2 & 6) and Parent Meetings (Week 4).

Guest Experts bring real-world insight and motivation to our students. They may be:
👩🏽 Examiners – explaining how to maximise marks in GCSE questions
🔬 STEM professionals – showing how science links to careers
👨🎓 Science undergraduates – sharing their own journey from GCSEs to A-Levels and beyond
🧠 Mindset coaches or specialists – teaching focus, exam confidence, and stress management
These sessions are delivered live or recorded and are scheduled in Weeks 2 and 6 of every block.

✅ The GRP underpins our model. Students use it for:
✅ Topic tests and practice questions
✅ Exam-style questions marked instantly
✅ Tutor-issued classwork and homework
✅ Mock papers during assessment weeks
✅ Parents also have visibility — you can log in 24/7 to see homework and progress

They will still have access to the week’s GRP work and can catch up during the Drop-In Clinic.

With 6 blocks per year, the structure provides full coverage from September to June.

Each subject is taught by a specialist tutor (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with experience in GCSE/IGCSE.
Tutors supervise live, monitor progress on the GRP, and provide instant feedback.
Students are accountable for their classwork and homework every week.

Our assessments use GCSE-style exam questions.
With the support of the Premium GCSE Revision Portal, the tutor marks, explains, and gives targeted feedback on exam technique — showing students not just what to learn, but how to answer for maximum marks.

Yes. Required practicals are woven into the teaching sessions. Students cover the methods, data analysis, and common exam questions linked to the practicals, so they are fully prepared for exam application.

Week 4 of every block is reserved for parent meetings. Tutors share your child’s progress and give tailored feedback on strengths, gaps, and next steps.

No. This is not “watch the tutor teach on Zoom.”
Our programmes are exam-prep focused:
☑️ Students work actively on exam-style questions.
☑️ Tutors supervise, correct, and explain in real time.
☑️ Assessments, homework, and progress tracking run through the GRP.
☑️ It’s a structured, accountable system — not casual tutoring.
